CUP OF JO'S Motherhood Around the World
I've been following Joanna Goddard's blog, A Cup of Jo, for a few years. I love her takes on motherhood, fashion, marriage and work-life balance. She is a voice of reason--but also inspiration. Last summer, I was one of many thousands of readers who enjoyed her series, Motherhood Around the World, in which she interviewed American expat moms living in India, Congo, Ireland, Norway, and other countries to find out what it's like to raise kids far from home. The interviews were accompanied by lots of gorgeous pictures and the mothers' insights were fascinating. This spring, when she put out a call for new entries, I wrote to her to see if she thought London would make an interesting post. Some of Joanna's family is from England and I was thrilled when she and her editor, Caroline Donofrio, wrote back to ask some questions and decided to include my family in this summer's series. (Check it out here! And while you're at it, follow Joanna's blog! It's brilliant.) Thanks, Joanna and Caroline! I can't wait for the rest of this series.
