Lost in Translation

Walking to work the other day, I noticed this sign on the side of a bus shelter on Oxford Street. It's advertising Tesco's low, low price on free-range eggs. But to an American eye it seems to be saying something else. My first thought was, "That's a guarantee I'd have paid more than a pound for during my queasy first trimester..."
